Rand's Hair Needs Some Loving

Below are copies of documentation of Rand Knight using campaign funds for a $50 haircut and loaning himself $45,200! I mean I knew Rand had pretty hair...but $50! And at a place called "Indulgence Salon?!"  And from his campaign money?! I mean come on!

How much do you pay for a haircut? I mean, mine was $20 at supercuts today. I'd expect a senate candidate to look sharp.

Sure beats John Edwards and his trim-ups.

$50? Come on. For a man that's obscene. Sure its no $200, but for $50 he'd better be able to get me to vote for him just by looking at him.

Campaign funds were NOT used for this expense. It came fom personal funds and the receipt accidentally made it into the FEC pile during sorting by a volunteer who completed the filing. The filing has been amended and is being resubmitted. And for the record, the haircut was $25, the shampoo and lunch that was bought there was another $15 and the tip was $10, for a total of $50. Again, no funds from campaign coffers were ever used to pay for this expense and the FEC filing has been amended.

I'm thinking that $50 would just about cover that touch of gray we've been seeing lately.
Or - maybe they teach southern drawl lessons there too.

Haha Knight is scanning the blogs. Seems like the $50 would be for a big of gray. But I didn't think 18 year olds got gray hair!

Knight for senate, I refuse to believe you until I see the evidence.

And for the record, since when do you buy lunch at a hair salon? Thats asking for a hair in your soup.

Good luck with what is sure to be a 4th place finish on tuesday.
